Accounting Clerk – Richmond

Job Description

Our client is looking for a collaborative team player to take on this Accounting Clerk assignment. This will take place for 6 months starting ASAP.

They are seeking energetic go-getters with at least 2 years’ accounting experience and the ability to juggle competing priorities.

Candidates must have a car to be able to access their offices in Richmond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Accounts Payable and enter invoices
  • Reconcile and enter expense reports
  • Prepare bi-weekly payment proposals and generate payment runs
  • Assist with collections
  • Month-end duties including reconciling accounts and credit card transactions, preparing journal entries
  • Other clerical, accounting and administrative tasks as needed


  • 2-5 years’ accounting experience with a focus on Accounts Payable
  • Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent sense of initiative and willing to take on new challenges

What's In It For You
