Job Description
Our client is looking for a collaborative team player to take on this Accounting Clerk assignment. This will take place for 6 months starting ASAP.
They are seeking energetic go-getters with at least 2 years’ accounting experience and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
Candidates must have a car to be able to access their offices in Richmond.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Accounts Payable and enter invoices
- Reconcile and enter expense reports
- Prepare bi-weekly payment proposals and generate payment runs
- Assist with collections
- Month-end duties including reconciling accounts and credit card transactions, preparing journal entries
- Other clerical, accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- 2-5 years’ accounting experience with a focus on Accounts Payable
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Experience with ERP systems
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent sense of initiative and willing to take on new challenges
What's In It For You
The equivalent to annual salary in the range of $45-50K.
