Job Description

Our client, a leading HVAC distributor, is known for excellent customer service. They have a wide variety of products and well-stocked branches. They maintain strong relationships with suppliers and are active in HVAC/R associations. Focusing on education and industry advancements helps them stay competitive by providing excellent product knowledge and support.

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager for them to drive sales, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to the company’s continued success.

Note: This opportunity is hybrid at their Burnaby office. The right candidate must be a PR/Citizen of Canada and must own a personal vehicle as this job requires travelling on the road.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, offering trusted HVAC solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and cold calling.
  • Promote and sell residential HVAC products (ductless systems, HRVs, install materials, aftermarket parts, etc.).
  • Provide expert sales advice tailored to customers’ needs and ensure seamless buying experience.
  • Support marketing programs and guide dealers on maximizing their benefits.
  • Organize and host dealer meetings, training sessions, and product demos.
  • Keep up with industry trends, attend trade shows, and continuously grow your product knowledge.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and maximize customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in HVAC or wholesale distribution.
  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma is required.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in sales, customer service or a similar role.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and develop new accounts.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems & products is a plus.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in Microsoft Office & CRM tools.
  • Initiative-taking with strong problem-solving & negotiation skills.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and ability to travel within the province
