Project/Account Manager

Job Description

Our client—recognized as a Great Place to Work, one of BC’s Top 100 Employers, and a Best Managed Company—is seeking a Project/Account Manager to join their growing team. This role is pivotal in supporting national account customers in BC, with a focus on building relationships and delivering outstanding electrical service and project work.

You can be based in any of their BC offices: Burnaby, Kelowna, Victoria, or Nanaimo.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of electrical service and small projects for national accounts across BC
  • Pursue and prepare service agreement proposals; manage contracts and renewals
  • Oversee project life cycle: estimating, planning, procurement, billing, communications, and client service
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams
  • Support the Service Manager and Coordinators to ensure service excellence
  • Job site presence and travel within BC required to meet with clients and monitor progress
  • Monitor project financials and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery

Qualifications

  • Education: Electrical trade certificate, Electrical Engineering degree, or Technologist diploma/certificate
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years in electrical project management
    • 2+ years managing service/maintenance agreements
    • Familiarity with estimating tools (Accubid Pro & Change Order preferred)
    • Experience managing national accounts is an asset
  • Strong client relationship and organizational skills
  • Proficient with MS Office, Procore, Zoom, etc.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative mindset
