Marketing Coordinator and Business Development Associate

Job Description

Are you ready to take your marketing career to the next level with one of British Columbia’s top law firms? In this full-time, temporary role (approximately 18 months), you’ll be at the heart of marketing efforts, working closely with our client’s Director of Marketing to craft compelling campaigns, organize events, and amplify our presence across various platforms. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact while showcasing your creativity and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all logistics for their Workplace Law Education Series (virtual and in-person), liaising with speakers and attendees, and analyzing event metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Manage their social media platforms by creating engaging content and fostering connections with our target audience.
  • Oversee website updates and ensure content is fresh, accurate, and aligned with their brand.
  • Design marketing materials such as newsletters, email campaigns, presentations, and graphics that stand out.
  • Coordinate submissions for their signature publications, manage advertising placements, and drive online promotions.
  • Track and analyze marketing performance data to inform strategy and share insights.
  • Be the go-to expert for their CRM platform, ensuring smooth operations and optimal utilization.
  • Contribute to ad hoc marketing and business development initiatives that drive results.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in business administration, marketing, communications, or a similar discipline.
• At least two to three years of marketing experience, ideally in a law firm or business setting.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) proficiency.

• Expertise in WordPress, EventBrite, MyEmma, and CRM tools.
• Excellent writing abilities and a sharp attention to detail.
• Outstanding project management and organizing skills.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset that thrives in a hectic, deadline-driven setting
