We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Administrative Assistant to support our client’s Strata Law and Residential Tenancy Law department. If you thrive in both independent and team settings, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expertise in legal documentation, filing systems, and administrative processes.
- Draft and refine legal documents and correspondence with precision.
- Coordinate scheduling for mediations, hearings, discoveries, trials, and client meetings.
- Manage files efficiently by organizing documents, updating binders, and maintaining records.
- Maintain an effective bring-forward system and oversee open and closed files.
- Prepare and follow up on monthly and quarterly billing statements.
- Take on additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Legal Administrative Assistant program or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant.
- Proficiency in Word and Outlook; familiarity with Elite 3E is an asset.
- Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of litigation procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality with sensitive client information.
