Our client is a large law firm delivering the best to its clients for over a decade. They are seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant to join their team! This role is integral to the daily operations, providing essential administrative and file management support for lawyers, PAs, and other departments. Key Responsibilities
- Handle large and small copying, scanning, and binding tasks
- Manage file requests and maintain up-to-date client records
- Create new files, label, and archive appropriately
- Work with practice management systems to log and record documents
- Assist with KYC and conflict checking procedures
- Conduct searches as requested
- Liaise with lawyers and support staff, providing prompt service
- Ensure timely updates to the team and assist with file management issues
Qualifications
- Legal Administrative Assistant certificate is mandatory for this position.
- Post-secondary diploma in Administration (an asset)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A proactive and flexible approach to daily tasks
