Key Responsibilities
- Drafting standard correspondence and legal documents
- Preparing, editing, and formatting memos, opinions, and submissions using Microsoft Office and Adobe
- Assembling physical and digital binders and books of documents
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining bring-forward systems
- Communicating with clients and lawyers via phone, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom
- Managing and organizing electronic filing systems using NetDocs
- Assisting with general office administration — reception, scanning, ordering supplies, and keeping things tidy
Qualifications
- Enrollment in a legal assistant program or previous experience as a legal assistant (litigation experience is a plus)
- Strong administrative, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to handle multiple demands efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
