Job Description
Our client, an established Interior Design firm in Whistler, BC, is seeking an experienced Interior Designer with recent, relevant experience in an interior design or architectural office, including project management.
We are looking for someone who is an experienced, highly motivated, creative, team player who can work with minimal supervision. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in contributing to high end residential projects.
They are offering a flexible hybrid working arrangement for the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing concept designs and drawings, including space planning
- Producing full construction working drawing sets, including millwork drawings, lighting plans, detail drawings and specifications packages
- Project Management and oversight
- Sourcing materials, fixtures, and hardware
- Coordinating with suppliers, trades & clients
Qualifications
- Have a minimum of 3 years work experience in an Interior Design/architectural office, including project management and producing working drawings
- Have qualifications from a recognized institution
- Be proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, MS Office
- Have an understanding of current BC building codes
- Have your own vehicle & a valid driver’s license
- Be living in the Whistler area (offices are in the Function Junction area) or willing to relocate

They are offering a starting salary in the $28-35 per hour range, based on skills and experience.
