As the HR Recruiter, you will be a vital member of the HR team responsible for growing and strengthening their talent pool. Your primary focus will be on full-cycle recruitment, including developing compelling job descriptions, creating engaging job postings, defining selection criteria, conducting interviews, and ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed.
This is an 18-month contract with a hybrid work model, operating Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HR, Management, and Leadership teams to develop and source key candidates
- Develop recruitment strategies to attract high-quality talent for competitive searches
- Build and maintain talent pools by nurturing relationships with top talent and external sources
- Manage candidate information and grow talent pipeline
- Handle full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes
- Write, compile and maintain HR recruitment documentation and materials
- Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment-related learning and development programs for leadership and management
- Help establish an employee training system for recruitment and retention needs
- Monitor wage and salary structure for equity and conduct pay studies
- Recommend changes in benefits to attract, satisfy, and retain employees
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of human resources experience, including full-cycle recruitment
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources
- To hold or be actively pursuing a CPHR designation is an asset
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated experience working with HRIS and payroll software is an asset
- Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Team player who can work independently and take direction
