Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the HR team
- Handle employee relation matters
- Oversee HR administration
- Ensure accurate administration of benefits programs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement a variety of HR programs
- Design targeted development programs to address knowledge gaps
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers on difficult employee issues including dispute mediation, disciplinary procedures, and terminations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years in a Senior HR Advisor or Generalist role
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management
- Experience in the construction industry is beneficial
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a big asset
- Excellent proficiency with MS Office and experience using HRIS systems
- Fantastic organization and planning skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities
