Our large law firm client in Downtown Vancouver seeks a highly skilled eDiscovery Project Analyst to join their team. Report directly to the supervisor; this position supports solved forensic services. The ideal applicant has a sharp eye for detail when handling technology-based proof and performs well in both solo and group work settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee electronic evidence projects while delivering exceptional client service.
- Assist in collecting electronic evidence using tools like PinPoint Harvester, Microsoft Purview, and other industry-standard platforms.
- Gather and manage social media evidence for litigation purposes.
- Import/export digital evidence and generate load files as required.
- Maintain accurate project records, ensuring compliance with eDiscovery best practices and firm protocols.
- Process, analyze, and organize digital documents using Relativity and other eDiscovery software.
- Perform quality control checks on digital evidence, including analytics (email threading, near-duplicate analysis, concept clustering, etc.).
- Track and bill time using Elite and/or MaxBilling.
- Archive databases and assist with general litigation support projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel), Adobe, Nuance, various text editing software, and database management.
- Experienced with eDiscovery tools such as Ipro, Ringtail, Nuix, and Relativity.
- The candidate should be knowledgeable in production workflows, data culling methods, and the processing of electronic documents.
- Certifications in Relativity, including Certified Administrator, Processing Specialist, or Review Management Specialist, are highly recommended.
- Strong foundation in the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and hold a Certification as a Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS).
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a strong focus on accuracy and detailed execution.
