Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target strategic end-users to uncover retrofit and solution-based sales opportunities
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close, meeting and exceeding annual sales targets
  • Build long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for value-added solutions and services
  • Collaborate with internal teams including design, engineering, and service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Deliver presentations, attend industry events, and represent the organization in professional settings
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, products, and technical offerings
  • Continuously assess and respond to client needs to drive retention and expansion

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales, business development, or strategic account experience in the Controls/DDC industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of DDC systems; experience with platforms like Reliable Controls or Schneider is a plus
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and self-management abilities
  • A degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Strategic sales training such as Acclivus or Miller Heiman is an asset
