Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target strategic end-users to uncover retrofit and solution-based sales opportunities
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close, meeting and exceeding annual sales targets
- Build long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for value-added solutions and services
- Collaborate with internal teams including design, engineering, and service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Deliver presentations, attend industry events, and represent the organization in professional settings
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, products, and technical offerings
- Continuously assess and respond to client needs to drive retention and expansion
Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales, business development, or strategic account experience in the Controls/DDC industry
- Strong technical knowledge of DDC systems; experience with platforms like Reliable Controls or Schneider is a plus
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and self-management abilities
- A degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred
- Strategic sales training such as Acclivus or Miller Heiman is an asset
