Job Description

Our client, a professional services company with offices in New Westminster, is looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to start as soon as possible. You have an outgoing personality, a strong and positive attitude, as well as a keen eye for detail, and ability to pick things up quickly. Transit-friendly location of New Westminster.

The Registry Agent performs a variety of simple to complex clerical tasks under limited supervision, exercising initiative and independent judgment in the performance of assigned tasks. No experience in this field is necessary as the company is willing to train someone with potential!

Key Responsibilities

  • Retrieve documents from various government databases
  • File Court and related documents, electronically or manually
  • Obtain imaged and microfilmed documents from Courthouse
  • Draw up invoices for client requests
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge and understanding of registration procedures
  • Answer clients’ search queries in a precise and professional manner
  • Maintains a good working knowledge of the Land Title Act and the requirements of the Land Title Office
  • Miscellaneous tasks or duties as requested

Qualifications

  • At least one year`s current office experience would be preferred
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Extremely good with detail
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and to retain necessary information
  • Professional attitude
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement in solving problems
  • Valid driver’s license would be an asset
