Job Description
Author and international lecturer is looking for a part-time financial manager to assist with the maintenance of complex financial records, bookkeeping, preparation of monthly reports etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping, filing, payment of bills (property taxes, insurance etc.) Oversee Canadian and international bank accounts
- Management of reconciliation processes
- Prepare and submit monthly financial reports for approval
- Act as liaison between accountants and bank account managers
- Assist with budgeting and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- You have a minimum of 3 years experience in accountancy, banking or financial administration
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Solid computer proficiency
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while working independently
- Effective problem solving and time management skills
- Reliable, impeccably organized and detail oriented
- Friendly, positive and outgoing attitude
- Long term commitment preferred
- Criminal background and credit check required
