Hybrid Credit Analyst

Job Description

Our client is seeking a confident and down-to-earth Credit Analyst with effective active listening skills and a customer-centric approach to work. Using top-tier customer service skills, this role will implement the company’s credit and collections policies for customer accounts, and will identify and resolve issues using scrupulous attention to detail and proven problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain customer accounts communicating with customers via phone and email
  • Maintain all records pertaining to collections and AR reports, resolve issues as they arise
  • Process monthly customer statements, credit card payments and generate invoices
  • Assess new credit applications for suitability, seek approval for existing customer credit limit requests
  • Identify and report high risk accounts/claims and discrepancies
  • Stay in the know on industry changes and trends, identify opportunities for improvements
  • Identify and report any IT issues
  • Other duties and special projects as required


  • 2+ years of related Accounts Receivable or Credit experience
  • Degree or diploma in Accounting/Finance or Credit Institute of Canada CCP Program certification
  • Experience in the construction industry or waterworks distribution is an asset
  • Experience in a B2B sales environment is an asset
  • Customer-focused approach with above-par communication and interpersonal skills
  • Superior organization, multi-tasking and analytical abilities
  • Excellent computer proficiency with Excel, Salesforce and SAP
