You will collaborate closely with the CFO, providing impactful analysis and reports, and prepare forward-oriented models, forecasts, and budgets, shaping the future success of the organization. With a special focus on cost variance analysis and standard cost preparation, you’ll play a crucial role in optimizing their financial environment.
This full-time hybrid role with flexible hours might be just what you need! You’ll enjoy the best of both worlds, with one day of remote working per week and flexible Monday to Friday office hours around 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and analyze month-end reports on labor and material utilization
- Maintain daily labor productivity reports and identify areas for improvement
- Develop costing for new/revised products and update year-end standard costs
- Improve standard costing methodologies, including scrap costing
- Provide timely revenue analysis and pricing insights
- Conduct inventory control activities and perform count audits
- Assist in developing profitability models and quarterly reports
- Support budgeting and financial forecasting
- Perform other assigned duties by the CFO
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience as a Cost Accountant or Financial Analyst
- Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field
- CPA designation is an asset
- Keen eye for detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written, verbal and presenting communication skills
- A collaborative and team-oriented approach to work
