The company has offices in both Nanaimo and Victoria, so the successful candidate can be located in either of these areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Cold-call prospective clients, visit and support new accounts
- Maintain communication with clients and provide ongoing information and support
- Carry out market analysis to identify customer needs and issues
- Learn about new company products including attending sales/product meetings
- Maintain and update catalogs
- Make on-site visits to customers to address any issues and to follow up on job progress
- Maintain customer information and sales records
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Business Development experience
- Experience with/knowledge of HVAC systems is a must
- Basic understanding of inventory, warehousing and stocking procedures
- Demonstrates outstanding communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
- Sound working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Energetic and self-motivated
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
