Join one of Vancouver’s leading professional service firms in this new opening! Our client is on the lookout for a passionate and seasoned Business Development and Marketing Specialist to boost their regional office’s growth. Collaborate closely with the Regional Business Development Director and help align strategic plans to drive revenue growth. This hybrid role awaits you in the heart of downtown Vancouver!

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and executing the Vancouver market’s business development plan, ensuring a coordinated strategy across regions
  • Identify opportunities for thought leadership, improving the firm’s visibility, and enhancing lawyers’ rankings
  • Facilitate business development plan achievements and align regional initiatives with the national plan
  • Collaborate on sector-focused initiatives and pursue business development opportunities with clients
  • Support client retention and growth strategies, staying updated on client and industry challenges
  • Manage business development programs and regional client teams to attract and retain business
  • Create marketing collateral for events and enhance the firm’s visibility
  • Assist with legal directories submissions and evaluation processes
  • Track and report on business development results and client engagement
  • Support sponsorship programs and develop marketing strategies
  • Assist the Director with administrative tasks and budget management

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development or marketing, preferably in a professional services environment
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) and CRM tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills
  • Strong time management abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
